In contrast to the earlier example of Aratita Electronik Jazz Quintet’s version of ‘Hold Firm’, ‘March’ is a sparse, and at times, delicate piece scattered with moments of emotional crescendos, conversational instrumentation and a tolling bell which draws the listener back into focus. ‘March’ will be available later in 2020 as part of the debut for the 5 piece instrumental jazz and electronic group AEJQ entitled ‘Deosil’ EP. Made up of 4 tracks, ‘Deosil’ is an introduction to the landscape of sounds presented by the group, and will be the first in several forthcoming releases in the future on Fly High Society.
